After Hours Care

Platte River Medical Clinic is part of our family of clinics. If it is between 5pm and 8pm during the week or 8am to 8pm on the weekend, please consider stopping by one of our walk-in urgent care clinics. If you need to be seen between 8pm and 8am any day, you can see a provider virtually with our virtual visit app!

For Care After 5pm Weekdays or 8am to 8pm on the Weekend

Stop by one of our walk-in urgent care clinics for any non-life threatening emergency. We have locations in Brighton, Northglenn, and Fort Lupton. Our Brighton clinic is located in the same building as Platte River Medical Clinic and under the same ownership! Click here to learn more about the clinics. You can also reserve your spot in line before you arrive!

For Care between 8pm and 8am Every Day

You can now get care from the comfort of your home, office, or even when you are out of town! With our virtual visits, you will connect with a provider through an app on your phone. The provider will have you list your symptoms and ask for you to take pictures if necessary. We will call in any necessary prescriptions to your pharmacy. We treat most minor medical conditions including: sore throat, cold, cough, and ear ache.

Keep in mind, insurance cannot be used for a virtual visit and each visit cost is $50. In many cases, this is less than your co-pay for an in-office doctor visit. You can, however, use an HSA card for payment. Click here to learn more.

When Should I go to the ER?

  • Allergic reactions to food and animal or bug bites
  • Chest pain
  • Constant vomiting
  • Continuous bleeding
  • Severe shortness of breath
  • Deep wounds
  • Weakness or pain in a leg or arm
