COVID-19 Vaccine

Platte River Medical Clinic has partnered with Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.

Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is starting to accept vaccine appointment requests for anyone in phases 1A, 1B.1, and 1B.2. The urgent care is starting to get the Moderna vaccine and will distribute while supplies last. This is first come, first served and we will distribute the vaccine in the order of appointment requests and eligibility.

COVID-19 Vaccine: Colorado’s Plan for Distribution

The State of Colorado developed a phased distribution plan for getting Coloradans vaccinated in a timely and fair manner. Those phases are listed below. If you are 65 years or older, you are eligible to get the vaccine at the state’s specified locations. Phase 1 A – Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine

  • Highest-Risk Health Care Workers and Individuals

Phase 1 B.1 – Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine

  • Coloradans Aged 70 and Older
  • Moderate-Risk Health Care Workers
  • First Responders

Phase 1 B.2 – Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine (Current Phase)

  • Coloradans Aged 65-69
  • Pre-K-12 Educators
  • Child Care Workers in Licensed programs
  • Continuity of State Government (includes Executive and Judicial branches of state government)

Phase 1 B.3

  • Frontline Essential Workers
  • People Aged 16-64 with two or more high risk conditions

Phase 2

  • Coloradans Aged 60 to 64 with high risk conditions
  • Coloradans Aged 16 to 59 with 1 high risk condition as listed on state website
  • Other Essential Workers and Continuity of State Government

Phase 3

  • Coloradans Aged 16 to 59

Curbside COVID-19 Testing

This sick season we are offering appointment-only curbside testing weekdays, 8 am to 5 pm. Schedule a telehealth visit with one of our providers to discuss symptoms. Platte River Medical Clinic is a patient-centered medical home. This model of care emphasizes the coordination of care between you, your child, and your primary care provider. You and your child will receive the right care at the right time. Use the patient portal to email you and/or your child’s provider directly and get your test results quickly.
